| "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15 |
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" - Romans 3:23 (KJV) Have you ever told a lie? Disobeyed your parents? Cheated on a test or on the job site? Sin is anything that is wrong in the eyes of Almighty God. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. The word "all" includes you. Yes, you are a sinner. Inside your heart is an empty, voided space. There is no real peace in your life. Sin has caused you agony, pain, despair, guilt, and so on. Because of your sin, God cannot and will not have a personal relationship with you. Therefore, you have come short of God's Glory. 6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:6-8 (KJV) God showed and demonstrated His love for you by allowing His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for you. Jesus Christ lived on this earth for approximately 33 years. Jesus never sinned. You read correctly, Jesus Christ never sinned. Jesus was and is the Perfect Lamb of God. Since Jesus was and is Perfect and without sin, He willingly took your sin upon Him and gave His life on the cross. A sinner that is lost is considered ungodly. The Scripture passage above says that even for a righteous man or good man "some would even dare to die." However, the Perfect and Sinless Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood just for a sinner and ungodly person like you. Wow! God really does love you. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23 (KJV) Your sin condemns and sentences you to death. The payment and wages for your sin is death, separation from God for eternity. In addition, your life on earth without Jesus Christ will be miserable, terrible, empty, lost, and so on. There is a free gift of salvation. This free gift is available to you because Jesus Christ willingly gave His life on the cross for your sin. The gift of God is eternal life. In addition, your life on earth with Jesus Christ will consist of true peace, genuine happiness, fulfillment, ultimate joy, and so on. When you give your life to Jesus Christ, then it may cost you your friends, family members, job, reputation, etc., and in some countries giving your life to Christ could cost you even your life. However, life with Christ is Awesome and each day brings a Beautiful smile to your heart and spirit. A life with Christ brings new Christian friends and so on. "9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:9-13 (KJV) If we confess our sins, then God is faithful and He is just to forgive you. God will also cleanse you of all unrighteousness. For by grace are you saved through faith. It is nothing that you have done. God desires to have a personal relationship with you. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and if you believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead, then you can be and will be saved. The Bible says that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. No matter what you have done, who you are, or how low you have gone, Jesus Christ died for you and He is willing to forgive you and save you. Will you give Jesus Christ your life? Will you repent and turn from your sin and turn to God? You can say a prayer similar to this prayer: "Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and I realize that I am lost. I believe in my heart that you, Jesus, willingly gave your life on the cross for me and arose from the dead. I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and I ask You, Jesus, to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I commit my life to and I ask you to save me from my sin. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. I Love You, Jesus!" If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life, then let Jad know about your decision. Jad would love to hear from you and pray for you.
